1.2m Quantum Communication Ground Station Telescope

The quantum communication ground station telescope developed by IOE makes great progress in high dynamic range high-precision telescope rack control technology, wide-spectrum light high-efficiency transmission technology, quantum entanglement and key polarization-receiving receive technology. Important indicators of this 1.2m telescope, such as tracking accuracy and high signal polarization maintenance have reached international advanced levels. 

In 2016, IOE cooperated with China University of science and technology and other units, realized high-precision docking with the world's first quantum scientific experimental satellite "Mozi". For the first time in the world, they achieved high-speed satellite-to-ground quantum key distribution, quantum entanglement distribution experiments over 1200km, intercontinental quantum key distribution and intercontinental quantum secret video call demonstration. Related results has been published in journals such as Nature and Science.
