CAS Presidential Scholarship Award and excellent Doctoral Dissertations of 2011 are released. HUANG Cheng win the special Award of CAS Presidential Scholarship Award, XU Ting and LI Xiong win excellent Prize, HU Chenggang wins One-Hundred excellent Doctoral Dissertations Prize. The four graduates are all from State Key Laboratory of Optical Technologies for Microfabrication in IOE. Their Supervisor LUO Xianggang wins outstanding supervisor and excellent graduates supervisor prize.

CAS Presidential Scholarship special prize is the top honor, and the prize is awarded only 20 graduates each year, Huang Cheng is the first Winner of IOE. He engages the national and Government and Administration high technique projects, and he has published 15 papers (8 papers are listed in SCI database, 2 in Ei village database). He has 9 patents, win First grade prize of Sichuan S&T Progress Award. After graduated from IOE, he has been continued his career in IOE. As the winner of Special Award of CAS Presidential Scholarship, HUANG Cheng becomes the candidate of Youth Innovation Promoting Association of CAS.

CAS Hundred excellent doctoral dissertations represent the academic level of the institutes. The thesis will be recommended to national one hundred excellent doctoral dissertations.
